on Dutch wine ranch
The grounds of wine ranch Welgelegen are home to a holiday home for six people. This wine lodge was built early 2019, within the structure of the former carriage shed. Adjacent to the lodge you will find a vineyard, an enclosed garden, a small playground and a paddock for our friendly animals. Your children can safely play with the animals, while you relax and keep an eye out from the deck or from inside the lodge.

Come and stay in our comfortable wine lodge
The wine lodge features all amenities you could wish for and has been built to the highest standards. This guarantees a pleasant and comfortable stay for all guests. The luxury kitchen contains all kitchen features you might need for preparing delicious meals.
A unique component of the wine lodge is the huge former wine barrel, in which the master bedroom has been created. This 7,000 liter barrel used to be employed in the making of wine, but has now entered its new life as a unique and cozy bedroom.
The lodge also holds a second bedroom, with four comfortable beds (no bunk beds). This bedroom can be split in two, if need arises.
Have your kids outdone themselves playing outdoors and are they in desperate need of cleaning up? The lodge contains a bathroom with walk-in shower, large bath tub and sink. Free wi-fi is available throughout the lodge.
Suitable for families with children
We welcome all guests, big and small, and offer a wide range of facilities for children. High chairs, children’s cutlery, toys for indoor and outdoor use, a baby bath and a changing mat are here for your convenience. We provide selected amenities based on the ages of the children travelling with you.
There is lots to do outside and plenty of opportunities for playing. Both in the animal paddock and in the playground. We also offer a range of outdoor toys, that will certainly appeal to those who want to exert themselves. For safety reasons the paddock, playground and garden are all enclosed. You will always be able to keep an eye on your kids. There are also plenty of fun activities available in our direct surroundings.
Discover the Veluwe
The wine lodge is located at the edge of the Veluwe, the largest continuous natural area in Western Europe. The famous Kröller-Müller museum in Hoge Veluwe National Park is a major attraction and very much worth a visit. Nearby you can also find sand dunes and blooming heath fields at Kootwijk. Bustling historic cities such as Amersfoort and Utrecht are also close by.
